About Us
Co Founders - Meet Alex and Emma
Alex, the man behind all the wonderful timber creations you see on our site. Emma, the charming lady behind the emails and comms you have with us. We have been together since 2015 and the dream of having our own side line business came to life in 2018.
This is our passion and a hobby which we are lucky enough to do outside our careers. In the day, Alex is an Architect with a love for rowing and Emma is an Account Manager with a love for socialising. Whilst we aren't busy making or creating, we enjoy spending time with our family and friends during our downtime.
Where it all began...
It all began when a friend dreamed of having a Rum Shack
to be a stand alone bar on their wedding day, but couldn't find what they were looking for. With Alex's creative mind and hands on attitude, he quickly whipped out a pad and pencil and started to draw the designs of the Rum Shack which you can see on our site today.
It was such a hit, not only did it match the vision our friends had in mind, but guests absolutely loved it too. Seeing everyone taking photos with our Rum Shack in the spotlight, it clicked. We didn't want to stop there and soon the idea of 'Bespoke Timber Creations' came to life.
What do we offer...
We wish to offer all our customers a personal service, giving you the flexibility to either request a completely bespoke hand made timber creation, or, we have a variety of creations Alex had made available to hire or purchase.
